iRASTE NZB

iRASTE was a successful project in Nagpur and Telangana. It was India's largest study of ADAS in commercial vehicles, making it one of the biggest projects of its kind not only in India but across the world. The project was also recognized at the World Government Summit 2025, winning the AI Powered Services category and bringing global recognition to India's innovation in road safety.

Following the Train the Trainer (TTT) programme, the team analysed the performance of all participating depots by evaluating accident reduction and improvements in driver scores. Nizamabad Depot emerged as the top-performing depot by significantly reducing road accidents within three months while continuously improving driver behaviour through regular training.

To celebrate this achievement, iRASTE organized its closing ceremony at the Nizamabad Depot. Shri. Prithvi Jonnada (Operations & Project Manager, INAI) attended the event as one of the Chief Guests alongside the Commissioner of Police, Nizamabad, and senior TGSRTC officials.

During the ceremony, the Depot Manager, Regional Manager, and drivers who demonstrated outstanding performance were recognized and appreciated for their contribution towards improving road safety. Their dedication reflected the impact of continuous training and the successful implementation of the iRASTE initiative.

The journey does not end here. iRASTE continues to move forward with a long-term vision of creating safer roads through technology, data-driven decision making, and improved driving behaviour across India's public transport ecosystem.
